Before

How can I prepare for my program?

For an optimal preparation for our cure, the consumption of meat, cheese, white flour, sweets, alcohol, caffeine, and nicotine should be restricted a few days before. Try to eliminate every day another food group to gradually change to a lighter menu (such as stewed vegetables and fish). At the latest, two days before you start the cure, you should take two days to relieve your digestion from additional stress. Choose between fruit or vegetable day (steamed, in the form of soup or raw) and combine rice or potatoes in moderation.

For our JuiceBox customers, we recommend a bowel cleanse before your detox start, which will help you develop no unnecessary hunger during the difficult first days of the program. Gentle methods for this are, for example, the intake of magnesium sulfate (bitter salt), an enema, or effective hydro-colon treatment, which is offered in many natural health practices.

If you ordered the program, including snacks, you get five units per day labeled “breakfast,” two “snacks,” “lunch,” and “dinner.” You can take your meals during your usual eating time. A good rule of thumb is to eat every 3 to 4 hours and to have your dinner not later than 20:00 clock, optimal would be even 19:00 clock so that your body has 12 hours of recovery until the next morning, which will boost your anti-aging hormones!

 

What time should I have my juices?

A good rule of thumb (as we are not all operating on the same schedule) is to wait about two hours between juices and have the last beverage two hours before you sleep. Please hydrate as much as possible with water and herbal tea in between each juice.

How are my meals prepared? Do I need to heat them?
All our meals are ready to eat. You can heat any meal you like depending on your eating habits. In general, most breakfast and lunch meals are eaten cold and can therefore easily be taken to work. Dinner will be served hot (heated directly in the safe microwave containers provided).

 

How do I warm up my meals?

All our food and juices come fresh and ready to eat in our environmentally friendly, disposable packaging. All dinners and soups can be eaten warm, as well as some of our breakfast, e.g., Porridges (but we leave it up to you). To do so, please pinch a few holes in the foil and gently heat it in a hot water bath or the oven at max. 90 ° C. Oven heating above 100 ° C should be done in a special oven form. From a nutritional point of view, we advise against the use of microwaves, as they destroy the molecular structure of the food and thus also its valuable nutrients and enzymes.

 

In what order do I eat the meals
You can always swap the lunch with the dinner. Kindly note that new menus are always automatically added by midnight.

 

Can I snack
We highly recommend you not to snack. Additional meals reduce the effect or add additional (unwanted) calories, which impacts your program results. All our programs are reviewed by our nutritionist to provide you with the safest and healthiest way to detox or lose weight. From a nutritional point of view, there is no need to add any snacks or food. If you are unsure about anything or have a particular medical condition, please don’t hesitate to contact our nutrition team directly.
If you are still hungry, we recommend that you drink a glass of water. Sometimes we mistake our body as it is hungry when in reality, it is dehydrated. If you are hungry, during the first two weeks of transition, we provide a list of snacks that are less than 100 calories in our recommended Snack List.

 

Recommended “Guilt-free” Snacks around 100 kcal
One big Apple / Orange, one handful of fresh Berries (e.g., Blueberries), or 2 small Stone Fruits (e.g., Apricots)

  • 20 Brown Almonds or 10 Cashew nuts
  • 3 Cereal Rice Crackers
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 Teaspoon Organic Peanut-Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey

 

Storage Life
We do not use any preservative, coloring, or any other add-on. Therefore our meals are 100% natural and can be left in the refrigerator for up to 4 days after delivery and up to 4 days for juices.

 

How do I store my meals?
In a cold, dark place between 2°C and 8°C. We highly recommend a fridge to keep the product quality remaining. Kindly note that bakery and dry snacks should be stored outside the refrigerator.

 

What can I drink
About 2 liters of water (still or sparkling) or herbal tea per day. Please avoid alcohol, fizzy (with or without sugar), and caffeinated drinks to maximize your program effects. If you are staying more than a week on the program, you also can have once a while a coffee or cappuccino; please keep away from latte macchiatos, sugar, and cocktails. A glass of wine will not entirely ruin your program, but all sugar or lactose products will slow down your metabolism.

 

Side effects

During the first days of your program, you can come across some very normal detox effects and change your diet. Your body will release toxins but also adapt to a sugar-free as well low sodium diet. However, everybody does react differently so it can be that you are energized or complete the inverse.

But do not be worried; most symptoms show only up during the first 72 hours as these reactions of the initial healing process of your body. These include, for example, headache, nausea, or lack of energy. None of the symptoms listed below are a cause for concern as they usually last only for a short time.

  • Headache
    • The excretion of toxins leads to hyperacidity in the body, which can lead to headaches. What to do? Drink plenty of still water and herbal tea. “Base Powder” helps, of course too. Please avoid painkillers, as they hurt your health and slow down the detox effect.
  • Bloating
    • A typical side effect of diet change. Again, we advise you to drink a lot, as digestion should be stimulated.
  • Skin irritation
    • Once the hyperacidification is balanced, they pass after a few days again.

 

Do I need supplements during my program?
No, you do not need any supplements besides the ones prescribed by your doctor.

 

How will I feel during my PurePure program?
You may feel a bit tired and have some headaches or other side effects, which is good as it shows that your body is eliminating the toxins. After three days, you will reach a new high and feel great again.

 

Can I do sports
After the first three days, we recommend that you do 30 minutes of physical activity (optimal would be 60 minutes) at least three times a week to positively support your eating program. Before that, you can go for light exercises like yoga, Pilates, or meditation as long as you feel good enough for it.
